We practice Natural Hosemanship, and offer recreations riding such as, trail
riding, obstacle courses, playing games on horseback. . . which encourages communication between rider and horse. Focusing
on blance seat whether you choose to ride English or Western style.
We always emphasize SAFETY first.
For English or Hunt Seat Riders, we like to start our students over ground poles, cavelletti work and small jumps, to
prepare for Hunter/Jumper shows.
And for the Western riders, we offer barrels, and poles to run for preparation for shows in the Gymkhana
divisions.
Most students will enter their first SHOW within the first year of riding at Brandy Rock Farm.
Fitting & Showmanship is very important here too. As, we like students to feel comforatable
enough to handle the horse, and care for the horse, as if it were their own.
